Famous and almost famous

Going to the Oct. 23 Spectrum concert with Hall and Oates, Todd Rundgren and The Hooters. The following day, I'll be covering the John Oates songwriters workshop at Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts, which should have a bunch of North Penn students attending.

Speaking of musicians with ties to the area, I'm taking a first listen to the 8-song EP "In All Your Favorite Colors" by Find Vienna (they used to be called Clarity). If you like Coldplay, you'll enjoy this band. I know they've played around here. Anbody have a Find Vienna concert review they'd like to share as a comment?

  1. Find Vienna is amazing in concert. at the lansdale performing arts center the microphones died on the stage but they made do for the time being. A lot of people knew the words so everyone just shouted them. they're a very energetic bunch and i love their music

  2. Find Vienna is amazing!
The lansdale performing arts center performance was great! the guys performed through mic sounds failing and crazy HOT venue! the air wasn't working too well. Even with the mics not working the guys played through and cntinued to perform! The crowd joined in and the songs were continued without the mic sounds until they were fixed of course! The guys are so energetic and fun. They really bring a lot to the stage! The music is amazing! The lyrics are awsome! Can't wait to see where their music takes them in the future!!!

  3. They rock! I didn't see them in lansdale, but saw them at World Cafe. My fav was when the guitarist started playing the drums along with the drummer. Can't wait for their show at North Star.

  4. This band is energetic and very entertaining. Their music is awesome. They keep their fans on their feet and wanting more. So refreshing to see such talent and musicianship. Their originals get "stuck" in your head. Can't wait to see them again.
